Diving Club
Juras Vejs Diving Club was founded in early 2000 by scuba diving lovers Irina Zhukova, Master of Biological Science, and Alexey Chernih, Master of Biological Science.
The major tasks of our club are the following:
• training of scuba divers according to PADI System;
• teaching of technical diving according to TDI System;
• Development of reasoned and careful attitude to environment
Our club trains divers up to the level of PADI Assistant Instructor or PADI and/or Master Scuba Diver, as well as Trimix Diver/Instructor TDI; arranges club tours to the Red Sea, the Baltic Sea (Latvia and Estonia), the White Sea, to the lakes of Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia, as well as to any other world spot.
Our instructors do not issue a certificate and qualify a student until they are sure the student has in full mastered the skills of scuba diving and the knowledge of its safety, ability to dive not endangering their own lives or the life of a buddy.
Due to such a responsible approach we have won many people’s trust and respect.
Notwithstanding the comparative youth of our club, Juras Vejs is undoubtedly the best and most popular diving club in Latvia. We created a club system of contacts, and today our club is not only a high-professional diving school but also a place where people meet who are united by a common interest and way of life: diving. We pay much attention to each newcomer to our club. Direct manner of contacting, friendly relations, great care by instructor make up our style of activity.
Not only are our students entitled to join our club, but anyone having diving skills and abilities known to us, i.e. having trained at our courses or familiar to us through trips and diving in open water.
You will be also assisted in selecting the outfit and granted an opportunity to try the projected purchase under water. Advices on diving all over the world.
No membership fee exists in our club network.
Juras Vejs actively cooperates with the Public Fund For Support And Development Of Extreme Sports, the main purposes of the latter being the involvement of youth in active sports and recreation, development of reasoned and careful attitude to nature, stopping such stupid and primitive human occupations as land and spearfishing hunting (especially just for having fun).
