Depths: down to 8 meters. Visibility: from 3 to 7 meters. Water temperature may fluctuate within +8 ºC and +18 ºC. Illumination: natural.

Minimum certification: Open Water Diver, recommended for beginner-divers to wrecks as dives to this object are relatively simple.

Wreck N 4

Unknown ship. Year of launch and year of wreck are unknown, as well as the name. Located in Akmenrags Cape area; distance: about 7 km from shore, 15.5 km from Pavilosta Port. Depth down to 24 meters. The vessel is split into 3 parts. Well-preserved bow and stern lie on the port side, rolled at 45 º. Middle ship body is destroyed, no cargo remnants were discovered.

Unknown ship. Year of launch and year of wreck are unknown, as well as the name. Distance: about 12 km from shore, 18 km from Ventspils Port. Strong current may be present in the dive site. Depth from 35 to 37 meters; rocky basement.

Visibility up to 10 meters. Water temperature may fluctuate within +8 ºC and +12 ºC. Illumination: torches are required.

Minimum certification: Advanced Open Water Diver + Deep Diver Specialty, recommended: TDI Decompression Procedures Diver or equivalent.

Wreck N 6

Unknown ship. Year of launch and year of wreck are unknown, as well as the name. Wrecked at the times of World War II. Distance from shore: about 12 km in the estuary area of the Uzhava River. Distance from Pavilosta Port: 38 km. Distance from Ventspils Port: 22 km. rather strong current may be present in the dive area. Depth: down to 27 meters; rocky basement. The ship is broken into three parts: well preserved stern and bow, and middle ship body which is a heap of wreckage. The ship length is about 100 meters. The ship carried a cargo of aircraft ammunition (German) and therefore wrecks of the ship include aerial bombs, acoustic needle mines, projectiles, cartridges and other ammunition. Wreck N 7

"ELBING". The ship was built in Danzig (Germany) in 1898. Length about 40 meters. Wrecked in 1941, having sprung a Soviet mine 7.5 km away from the mouth of Irbe River. Lies at about 1 km from the shore on the depth 9 to 10 meters, stern towards the shore. Ground: sand, average visibility: 4 to 7 meters. The vessel practically is on an even keel and the port side is on the level with the ground. The body is preserved well enough while the superstructures are heavily damaged. Hold hatches are open, the holds are much sanded. The starboard side is well above the ground. Middle starboard area has a big ragged hole. The ship has thereon the anchors, hoists, windlasses. Condition of the ship changes much with every coming year; it may be sanded from one board and then cleared etc.

Minimum certification: Open Water Diver, recommended for divers beginning their diving on wrecks as immersions to this object are relatively simple.

Wreck N 8

Unknown ship. Year of launch and year of wreck are unknown, as well as the name. About 12 km away from shore and the estuary of Irbe River. Practically always strong current present in the dive area. Depth down to 30 meters. The ship is well preserved, the body is practically undamaged. The ship length is about 100 meters.
